More GAS and more Line 6… I now have an Echo Pro. Very nice delay emulations, especially those where the signal gradually degrades (the “Lo Res” setting is excellent if you turn off the direct sound altogether). And of course the 60-second loop sampler is very cool.
Bass Pod
GAS attack… bought a Line 6 Bass Pod the other day. Fantastic – at last I can record decent bass sounds. Now I just need to learn to play the bass properly.
Happy birthday…
Nothing to say, just wish me a happy birthday, okay?

A week in music, somewhere in England
Groovy gigs last week… saw Lift to Experience (hellfire and brimstone Pentecostal fun) at Camden Dingwalls on the Monday, followed by the spellbinding Low at the Union Chapel, Islington, on the Friday. Can’t stop listening to the Lift to Experience album, and Low just get better and better. More beautiful, fragile and mesmerising every time I see them.

Better late than never, eh? I took the old site down in July, intending to have the new one up within a couple of weeks. However, with my scientific experiments in bone idleness and its effects upon society, I sort of forgot.
So, have a browse round the site. Some of it is probably only of interest to guitarists, if anyone, but I’m a sharing kind of guy, so I absolutely insist you read every word.
