Reminds me of the time, a few years ago, I was walking down one of the nearby streets early on a February or March evening. It was almost dark, and I was idly nosing through the windows where people hadn’t yet closed the curtains. I did a double-take when I noticed one front room, where the full set of Christmas lights and decorations was still in place.

That’s nothing. In New Orleans there’s a Christmas Shop which is open all year round, and full of tacky Xmas decorations.
